Behind the Scenes E-book
Letters to Lori and the book Christy by Catherine Marshall take place at the same mission location. Opal attended that mission school just after Christy (Leonora Whitaker) taught at Ebenezer. Christy was made into a TV Series in 1994/1995, and its reruns continue to be popular. Christy also became a musical. An annual festival, ChristyFest, was active from the late 1990s until 2013. The ChristyFest Facebook page is still active.
