Looking Forward
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

Our Story
It was many years ago, June of 1972 to be more exact, on Tybee Island, just fifteen minutes from historic Savannah, that Manly proposed. (Funny story that I’ll share with you sometime.) A short time later we were married at the Savannah courthouse.
Even though our adventures had begun two years earlier with the discovery of Christy’s Cutter Gap, we had no clue of the future adventures we would share. We’ve had many highs and just as many lows. I’ll share some of those with you from time to time. Through all the trials, challenges, and struggles we’ve learned to trust in Jesus more than I’d ever thought possible.
Now as we’re reaching the last years of our lives, although we have slowed down, we do not plan to stop. Manly, even though challenged by Parkinson’s disease and related issues, maintains a positive attitude and an ever-deepening faith in the Lord. His somewhat secret hope is that we will leave this present life together, hand in hand, in the glorious rapture of the saints. But no matter how, no matter where, no matter when we leave this life, we plan to continue our adventures here in the present making a difference in whatever ways we can.
Brief Bio
Manly and Barbara have worked together side by side in ministry to hurting people with life-controlling issues since 1981. They have three grown children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
